So bored now...

A depressed day

Today during the animal experimentation practical , me and my coursemates get to experience on how to anesthetise the rats and mice using different chemical via IP,IM,IV and IH. I held the mice tightly while Cat injected the drug through IP and the mice was fainted not too long later. Initially , I thought the mice would wake up soon since last time during the demonstration , the rat woke up rather fast. But when more than 20 minutes was over and no signs of waking up was observed, me and Cat was getting worried. Hearing of the mice from other group was dead deepen our fear. But since the lecturer said it might took around 30minutes to 1 hour to wake up, there was nothing me and Cat could do, except gave the mice some warmth by holding it with our palm and massaged it here and then. However, the mice had not wake up after the 3 -hour laboratory session was over. I guess it already dead by now. =(

What made today worse was that the mice from one of the group was stuck in the restrainer, with its head out of the hole. Everyone was trying to free it, but it went unsuccessfully. The only way to free it was by killing it, and then chopped its head off. But when one of the coursemates was trying to chop off the head of the mice, he crushed (not sure whether was intentionally or accidentally) the bone of the mice and the mice was removed.

I guess today was a rather depressed day for most of the coursemates and for me as well. But since we had chosen this course, we have to accept it . This is our fate...

Sunday has always been my favourite day since I get to catch up some long lost sleep and hang out with my family. For today, my dad brought us and my cousins to The Curve . Bought some cheap( 3 for RM 50!)T shirts from The Brand Outlet. Then, head to Kota Damansara to have our dinner at Bangkok Wasabe, which is situated just next to Sunway Giza. This restaurant has always been my favourite Thai food restaurant since its food taste quite good with reasonable price,not to mention that my dad actually has the discount card for this restaurant ! lol . For the last station of our one day trip, we headed to Sunway Giza mall, and I found out that Fullhouse has opened its branch in the Sunway Giza ! My dad said maybe he will bring us to eat at Fullhouse for my coming birthday....hmmm....anticipating....

A brand new chapter

Wow~~! I started my own blog ! lol...Hmm, today is a lucky day for me, and for my coursemates too,since we will having a 11-days Hari Raya break starting tomorrow onwards...! woohoo~~ At least can catch up some sleep....

Now, I am thinking what tasks is supposed to be fullfilled in this 11-days....2 reports, 2 PBL and 1 AIR....get ready for the Natural products....tidy up my notes....get ready for the EOS.... catch up some missed movies and dramas....blah blah blah....sigh....
